Carol Cox is the founder and CEO of Speaking Your Brand®, a coaching and training company that works with mission-driven organizations, executives, and entrepreneurs to elevate their communication, public speaking, and thought leadership.

A sought-after speaker on business storytelling, brand voice, and AI, Carol combines her background in technology with her passion for women’s leadership. She is the creator of ChatSYB, a customizable AI platform that enables coaches and consultants to scale their impact by embedding their frameworks and brand voice into an AI guide. Carol is also the host of the Speaking Your Brand® podcast, with over 400 episodes and counting.

Carol was honored as one of Orlando’s Women of the Year and has been featured in Forbes. She teaches business and marketing at Full Sail University and co-facilitated their Women’s Leadership Initiative. She has served on the advisory boards of weVenture, New Leaders Council, and ATHENA’s Women in Community and Public Service. During election seasons, Carol appears as a political analyst on TV news, and she is a past chairperson of the Democratic Party in Seminole County (FL).

Prior to founding Speaking Your Brand®, Carol launched and ran two software businesses, building systems for Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, community organizations, and political candidates.

Carol holds a Master’s degree in History from Emory University, where she was awarded the prestigious Javits Fellowship, and she graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in History.

Her work is driven by her mission to empower more women to find and use their voice, tell the stories that need to be told, and activate ideas for change.
